Aaditya Thackeray, Minister of Tourism and Natural environment, Maharashtra, flagged off the ‘Annual Classic Vehicle Fiesta 2022’ at the Entire world Trade Centre in Mumbai on Sunday.
A complete of 117 vintage cars and trucks and 66 two-wheelers participated in the rally organised by the Western India Automobile Affiliation (WIAA) and the Classic & Traditional Vehicle Club of India (VCCCI). The function was also supported by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation.

In line with the minister’s previous year’s announcement on the opening of a classic motor vehicle museum in Mumbai, Nitin Dossa, chairman of WIAA/ VCCCI, stated, “It is significant time that Mumbai gets its vintage auto museum.” Dossa claimed that Mumbai can have a classic car or truck museum that includes 100 cars and trucks and 50 two-wheelers. “It will get foreign tourists and our following era will get a look at what automobiles we have right now as each car is a unique vehicle,” he included. Among the the assortment of cars and trucks had been 7 Rolls Royce, 5 Cadillacs and a few Lincoln continentals, like Pope John Paul’s Lincoln. Various vintage and classic automobiles produced appearances at the occasion, like the 1927 Duesenberg Model A of Gautam Singhania, MD of Raymond Group, which also was the oldest automobile completing the run. The demonstrate also highlighted a 1923 American La France Style 12 Fire Truck and Hormusji Cama’s 1936 Lanchester that was also awarded the Conour d’ Magnificence Vintage auto award.
